My 100 Faces in 100 Days Project
For the first 100 days of 2011, I painted a portrait sketch a day ... of 100 volunteer sitters and posted to my blog about each person and that day’s sitting. Face #1, “Dorry” was painted January 1, 2011. Reston founder’s Robert E. Simon was Face #100 on April 10. All 100 Faces are on exhibit in two locations, the Great Falls Library in May (now over -- see pictures here) and the Artists’ Atelier Gallery in August.
