“May I Have This Dance?” or the Tutu Portrait

This painting was given to the young girl shown in the portrait for her 21st birthday. Sally’s mom had saved this early photo for years, knowing that someday she’d want to do something with it. Even though the photo was aged, teeny and indistinct ... I saw, and painted the emotions of the scene.
