“Sunflowers and Gladioli”

“Sunflowers and Gladioli” was exhibited at ArtSpace Herndon’s “Still Life Poetry” invitational exhibit. I got a kick out of exhibiting with some of the region/country’s best still life artists. It was a terrific show! This particular painting is packed with meaning for me. My dad made this arrangement for display during a public demo given as part of my “On the Bright Side” solo show ... a pivotal time in my career as an artist. Sometimes, you feel yourself growing, reaching, shining. Sort of like these sunflowers and gladioli.
