“Sweet Temptation Cupcakes”

The composition of this plate of mini cupcakes was “arranged” by all the cupcake purchasers who came before me to a coffee shop near my studio in Great Falls, VA. I knew I wanted to paint this ... as is ... a naturally-occurring wonder. The owner let me borrow the plate (after buying the cupcakes). It sat on the corner of the table there ... while I visited with two of my fellow studiomates. It drove some of my fellow coffee shop patrons nuts. Sweet temptation, indeed.
