When I first visited Italy (Florence in 2006), I didn’t realize how much I was drawn to painting markets. This year’s trip (March/April 2010) to Florence and Rome, I made sure that I found the great markets in both spots. “The Produce Seller” is my first painting from Rome ... of a charismatic vendor from the Campo dei Fiori market. A fantastic place!
