First Friday Art Night Out & Saturday in the Studio

My studio in the Artists' Atelier in Great Falls VA will be overflowing with paintings this weekend -- for the First Friday Art Night Out in the gallery and studios on November 6 from 6-8pm and in the studio during open hours on Saturday, November 7th -- from 10am to 2pm.

It will probably be the last time in November that my section of the studio will look pulled together and full of art as another event is brewing later in the month. So ... if you're local ... now's your chance.

I've been working on tweaking paintings that have not yet quite crossed over the finish line and have loved spending time with them (and the results). You may see some of those on Friday and Saturday ... or I'll be working on them.

There is also new work including an award winner from two weeks ago -- "Little City Glow" which won the Barb Cram Award in the Falls Church "Scenes in the City" plein air competition.

Little City Glow, 16" x 8"

Hope to see you there!
