Pacific Pier

When setting up to paint on Pebble Beach in California, choosing my subject was tough ... as usual. There were two that were calling, insistently. Surprisingly, I was able to tackle both, watching them as they changed over the course of the afternoon. So, here's painting number two of the day, captured right as the sun crept down over the horizon.

My first painting of that afternoon was "Pebble Beach Promontory" -- shown below.

"Pacific Pier" is heading with me to Virginia Beach for the Boardwalk Art Show 2015 where I'll be in booth 2302 (between 23rd and 22nd Streets on the boardwalk of Virginia Beach) Thursday through Sunday, June  18 to 21.
