How Now, Cow?

It took just a day for this cast iron cow, purchased at DePaul's Urban Farm while teaching my plein air class at that location, to make its first appearance on canvas. But, that was just a start. It had to wait until after the Plein Air Brandywine Valley and a little recovery time to be finished. All the pieces and parts were brought home to finish in my studio here ... minus one persimmon that a young studio tour decided was food, not a still life subject.
