Slow Lane

This is the scene from our balcony in Italy as bicyclists and strollers make their leisurely way from one part of town to another. It's crazy hot so I've started and worked on each painting as long as possible before needing a nap or air-conditioning break. Lunches and snacks have been eaten out on that balcony. Mornings are cooler ... long stroll worthy.

On Friday, September 1, I'll be participating in the First Friday Art Walk at Ellis-Nicholson Gallery in Charleston, SC as both their latest addition to the gallery roster and Featured Artist of the Month.  I hope you can come by for that opening or any time in September. Ellis-Nicholson is located at 1.5 Broad Street in the heart of Historic Charleston.
