Porch Light On

"Porch Light On" took me two evenings ... plus living/observation time ... to paint. The unusual note is that those two evenings were a year apart. The scene was the Inn on Negley in Shadyside/Pittsburgh PA. Randy and I have been staying here for the last three years that we've participated in the art festival in Shadyside. The great breakfasts, cozy rooms and pampering help counter putting my booth up in the middle of the night. The photo is terrible and will be replaced. Technology and time are not cooperating. My laptop won't wake up. I'm traveling to Charleston SC for my solo show opening at the Ellis-Nicholson Gallery. (Reception there September 1, 5-8pm) This is typed on my iPhone. Challenges.
