Tidal Basin Pinks (Cherry Blossoms in DC)

On Thursday, March 28, I enjoyed one gorgeous day sitting on a bench at the Tidal Basin capturing cherry blossoms and monuments in DC.  I met plenty of super nice people and also had a close-up visit by a duck couple. Beautiful weather and my first day painting plein air near home this year.  Ahhh.

A photo of me and the ducks - from Daniel and Anna - two of my human visitors

Photo by husband Randy Banks.  He must have been nervous about getting too close. This was before the tide came in.
