Radishes And Blooms

Neither the radishes or sunflowers looked this fresh when I painted them for my first day of class painting demonstration.  I guess another lesson taught is that through art, we get to transform reality for the better if we wish.

It was a wonderful start to the next session of Fall classes with great students who are taking on the challenge of live, remote art classes.  They set up their own wildly different still lifes to paint from, sent photos so I could see the subject through their eyes and put paint on canvases.
