Cow Biz

The year spent with lots of lots of time at home meant that a pretty good batch of paintings that were previously considered finished returned to my studio for a redo.  This one received an entire renovation with little reminiscent of the layer beneath other than the cow. It is freeing, fun, invigorating and I think that all attempts have generated improvements. Perhaps that's a sign of reaching another level with my work? Whatever it means, I'll take it.

Incorporated into the mix were a variety of finds from the independent antique shops within Krops Crops in Great Falls VA. Loved the scale and this seemed to be a perfect fit. Lots of treasures.
