March 17 (at the Old Brogue in Great Falls VA)

I finally finished this painting started on the hill on a cold St. Patrick's Day in front of the Old Brogue Irish Pub in Great Falls VA. That hill -- before the trees leaves unfold offers the perfect perch to capture all the festivities of the day.  There's lots to see here throughout the painting. (That's true for my paintings in general, but this one more than ever.)
