A Table In The Corner

A small number of my paintings are hanging in the Snuggery Dining Room at the Old Brogue Irish Pub in Great Falls VA -- a favorite community gathering spot a few doors down from my studio at the Artists' Atelier.  One of those painting is "Tea for Two" -- a piece I painted from life of two woman sitting in this same corner booth.  The woman in "A Table in the Corner" saw "Tea for Two" and commissioned me to paint her and her boyfriend in that same spot.  We spent a wonderful afternoon -- with me doing just what I love -- capturing the two of them hanging out in a favorite place.

I sincerely appreciate the Old Brogue for allowing me to paint on location for those quieter long afternoon hours. This was a real joy!
