Train In Rain

My first day in Cumberland for Mountain Maryland Plein Air was "atmospheric" according to the event organizers. That's a code name for rainy and foggy. So I needed a "roof" over my head and the rail station provided both cover and subject. The caboose is a fixture there and its red paint was a nice complement to the gray day.

The painter depicted on the platform is John Slivjak -- a Philadelphia artist whose path has intersected with mine multiple times for 20 years. It was nice of him to wander into the scene.
