Tucked In for the Night

I painted Tucked in for the Night plein air in Rockport MA while there for the American Impressionist Society's National Exhibition. Randy and I stayed at an apartment right around the corner from this view on Bearskin Neck.

I was so excited about going there to paint, remembering how gorgeous the area is from a visit before taking up shortly before embarking on my real art journey.  It didn't disappoint. Sure wish our trip could have been longer ... but it was nestled between classes and a ton of art events.

That trip resulted in three plein air paintings and is bound to inspire more to come.

Like all the paintings on my website (unless otherwise noted), this piece is framed in a gallery quality frame.

Framed dimensions: 17.5" x 21.5"
