Sit for a Spell

I painted my living room during the January 2026 31-day Strada Easel Challenge (to paint from life and post every day of the month). This one took three of those 31-days -- and you can take a look at my Instagram @jillbanks1 and Facebook @JillBanksStudio posts for January 4, 5 and 6 to see my daily progress. Hope you will!

Before the challenge began, I put out a post that I was considering painting on another existing piece depicting my living room. I'd redecorated the room -- so thought about "redecorating" my painting of it. I asked for feedback. Received a couple of yeses and a very emphatic no.

So that existing piece, Sunflower Spot -- has been saved and there are now two interior paintings of my living room.
