Trevi Fountain

This painting belies the hordes of visitors that fill every square inch surrounding the Trevi Fountain. There's a reason. The Trevi Fountain was one of husband Randy and my first stops when arriving in Rome. Whenever on travel, I get to know a place through sketching. Although it was a bit nerve-wracking with that many people around, once I became immersed in the drawing, the sounds of my neighbors faded away. It was that "alone" time at the fountain I recalled while painting this back home in my studio.
